Microphone
Microphone is an acoustic-electric transducers which serve to convert sound energy into electrical energy. Microphone composed of membrane (a circle) and a system that works because trandusi influence membrane vibration.
At this moment there are several common types of microphones used, namely Condensor microphone, dynamic microphone, carbon microphone and the piezoelectric microphone. Condensor microphone is a microphone that works with pieces parallel capacitor system (capacitance change), dynamic microphone works with the principle of electromagnetic induction, while the carbon microphone and the piezoelectric microphone each work with the principle of capacitance change and the response perubaha pressure. Each type of microphone has a characteristic and different sensitivities depending on the system that works trandusi.
From several types of microphones that are on top, microphone Condensor microphone is the type that is widely used particularly in audio recording purposes and for recording research data. In addition to the variety and the price is relatively cheap, Condensor microphone is one type of microphone which has a high sensitivity compared with other types.
Signal generated by the microphone is very dependent on all the parts are arranged. The parts that make up the microphone can be seen in Figure 2.1.
Diaphragm (membrane) at the microphone is made of a thin plate is designed in such a way that is easy to vibrated. Sound pressure from sound sources on the diaphragm (membrane) at the microphone, will make the membrane vibrate, these vibrations cause the capacitance of the second plate is changed, this change will respond as electrical signals.
